Tornado is the American brand of foosball tables located in Texas. It is safe to say that Tornado tables are the best tables on the market and they are one of the official 5 brands used in tournaments all over the world. Today I want to share with you the Tornado Elite foosball table because this table is the perfect combination of home and professional. It works perfectly in both situations and the design allows is to blend in any environment.
Since I have already mentioned the design, it is only fair I continue in the same tone. The entire cabinet is made in two colors, the Cherry Laminate, and dark brown legs and corners. The reason why the table fits in any room is the Cherry Laminate because the table resembles furniture. The handles are light brown color but they don’t stand out too much from the rest of the design.
Tornado Elite foosball table is actually a rather new foosball table because it was introduced to the market in 2010. The table was actually made to replace the Cyclone II, which was removed from the market in 2010. The only way to buy a Cyclone II is to get it from someone who has it at home and that means used. If you don’t care whether you will buy Cyclone II or other then I suggest you invest in a brand new table. If you would like to know more about Cyclone II, read the full review.
As a replacement, the Elite foosball table has to be better than the model before (in this case Cyclone II) and it really is. The cabinet is made from 1,5-inch thick good quality MDF and the entire foosball table weights 225 lbs. That means that you can shake the table as much as you like and it won’t move. Since a foosball table should be sturdy and durable this can only be an advantage. Tornado Elite foosball table has a smooth playing surface which is designed to look like a football field. It has the green color for grass and white color for makings on the field even though in foosball, those markings don’t mean a thing.
The players on the field are counterbalanced, which is a must-have option for any table, not just Tornado tables. Counterbalanced means that if you put the player horizontally, it will stay in the same position, until you move it. It is a great way to clear your path to the opponent’s goal. The player formation is 3-man goalie which is great for an intense match. Just like almost every other foosball table, this one has players in yellow and black color.
The Tornado Elite foosball table has commercial steel hollow rods, which means they are better quality than the rods made for hobby players who play foosball at home. Those rods will provide you great player control and better reaction time. But, to control the rods, one must have good quality handles and handles in this table are pretty great. They are made from natural wood which provides a better grip than the plastic ones.
The Tornado Elite foosball table is not 100% tournament material but it does provide amazing experience during the match. The only thing I don’t like about Tornado tables is the price. They are rather expensive, but they do last almost a lifetime. It would be great if you could get Tornado elite foosball table on sale because that way you can save money and get this amazing foosball table.
